Stock Spindles or Drop Spindles?
Saw these at a local yard today and couldn't tell if they were drop or not. The truck was ravished, but you could tell it had been recently restored. I couldn't find anything on the numbers, anybody know?

Ii can't tell you from those numbers, or that photo but its pretty simple.
If the stub is at the bottom of the spindle they are stock. If its toward the center they are drop. Think about it like this, spindle mounts the same but the tire moves up. Posted via Mobile Device

I would say stock,... with that long part number cast into it.

I thought so to Keith, but both of them were in real good condition and I thought I might get lucky. There wasn't much left of the truck to tell what year it was. The junkyard said it was a 67, but it had a big back window. It could have just been a 68-70and someone put disc brakes on it.

Re: Stock Spindles or Drop Spindles?
You're right, well either way I think they probably just added disc brakes to the front. It was a nice 2wd SWB frame, but it had been hit in the side right at the front of the driver's door. The frame was bent right there or I would have asked to buy the whole thing. It definitely had been recently restored because you could eat off the frame. It wasn't shiny, but just bare and clean.
