If you think that was a lot of photos, you should see all the ones I left out! I know I went a little overboard, but one thing I've learned is that you can never post too many pics on a forum thread.
That's hilarious about the jack mount. It makes sense when you see it all bundled up like that, but I'm sure it looks ridiculous with just the plate and spring. I would have no doubt pondered that for quite a while. I definitely agree with you on the first steps. Those will probably be the least expensive and most drastic changes I can do for a while, so I might as well get on it first! The trip home will be in a few weeks, and I'm stoked. Unfortunately, I have no place to store it at my house yet, so I'll be keeping it in a family member's barn and tinkering around with it whenever I can spare a little time. I'll be sure to start a build thread when I get it and upload pics as much as possible. Thanks again for everyone's advice and support! -Steffen |
