Glove box lock retainment 1969

Trying to install glove box lock on 1969. Too stupid.
Cab see no way of retaining lock in glove door.
Can't find anything online. Few pictures I see show no sort of clip.
Some mentions that the screw in the back retains it. Although I don't see how that would work.

There is a cup that slides over the back of the lock. The screw holds the cup on. I will see if I can find a pic.

Edit: This is all I could find right now. You can see the edge of the cup in the picture.

Almost all GM products from 1940 - 1958 and trucks 'til 1972 used the same GB lock so you can get one off of about any GM car or truck from those years.
