Crown Suspension 3" Drop Spindles ??
I found these spindle on Ebay for $205 not a bad price. But I have never
heard of them. Wondering if anyone hear can give some feedback good or bad. http://compare.ebay.com/like/2710978...ypes&var=sbar#

cant speak for crown but i got my dropped spindles from these guys
http://www.ebay.com/itm/73-87-C10-w-...ht_1289wt_1399 about same price, but with free shipping they sell belltech blems, the only thing i saw blemed on mine was the painted/powdercoated finish had a couple bad spots other that that looked great but i have not installed them yet

They look exactly the same. The price is the same as well. Thanks for the info I might just go with your vendor.

Re: Crown Suspension 3" Drop Spindles ??
Watch out when running 15" wheels with 3" drop spindles. Doesn't always work so well. Wheels will rub on the lower control arms.

Re: Crown Suspension 3" Drop Spindles ??
i second this. just put 2.5" drop spindles on my 67 and my 4.75 back spaced 15in wheels dont work. they DO rub on the control arms. i did find some old real shallow back spaced steel wheels that fit but they are super narrow(like 6in's wide with a 3in back space, they look super stupid but they work). no big deal cause im not keeping those 15's anyway, but it did put me in a weird spot with getting my truck to the alignment shop.

Re: Crown Suspension 3" Drop Spindles ??
You can run a 15" wheel with a 4" (max) backspacing with any 2.5"-3" drop spindle.
All you have to do is slightly trim the lower a-arm. You will also need to tweak the brake hose at the caliper, to clear the upper ball joint. It's been this way since the 80's. Nothing new here.
