"On the Road Again!"
As of today, I am BACK ON THE ROAD!!!
Pics as soon as I can borrow a digicam. After months of driving my wife's S-10 and my sister-in-law's a$$-draggin' Pontiac, I am safely perched atop a full-size, 4x4 frame inside a real, steel cab! After amputating one finger and inflicting various minor mayhem on myself, I can now see OVER most traffic obstructions! After carting parts and pieces of this truck around two counties for months on end, it will now carry ME for a while! After sinking almost $3000 into the beast, he's back on the road just in time for the gas prices to go up for the holiday travel season BUT I DON'T CARE: I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!!

There's nothing like having real blood, sweat and tears invested in something is there?
Good job on getting it on the road!

I've always liked to compare the blood on the parts to a dog marking his "territory". It's YOUR'S! Glad you got it going.

Well, they sewed back on all the parts that I took into the ER, so it's MOSTLY there, but some of the bits just weren't worth trying to save. I can even use it about 90% of the time now.
