Time to start on the suspension
I'm wanting a 4/6 drop.
I'm thinking spindles and springs up front from ECE. In the rear I was thinking about the rear air ride suspension kit from ECE just so I knew that the ride would be smooth, but still low. Keep in mind that I've never done any type of air ride setup. I was planning on not having a compressor or tank on board initially for financial reasons and later adding the compressor, valves, & tank. http://www.earlyclassic.com/catalog....gory=Drop+Kits After doing all the math on the rear air ride setup from ECE ($650). It looks like they're charging ~400 for the bags, valves, and fittings. The panhard, shocks, and relocators alone when ordered from them are ~250. Does this sound right? Or should I order it in pieces and get the bags, plates, line, and fittings somewhere else. If so, where? Or is the price in the right ballpark? Thanks, Matt Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Time to start on the suspension
If you can get it separately cheaper then do that for sure. From what I've seen, the bag plates really aren't needed out back, you can bolt the bags directly in place, but you may not want to be quite that low. For the record, I'm very happy with my static drop ride.
Front I've got McGaughys 2.5" spindles and GMC Paul's 3" coils with shocks in stock location and factory sway bar. Rear GMC Paul's 5" springs and 2" blocks out back. I used the No Limit shock relocator and an ECE notch Keep in mind, my rear tires are 1.5" taller than my fronts. Posted via Mobile Device
