1970 Chevy Dually

My new project. Factory ps, pb and A/C. Has a 327 with a 4 speed.

My plans are to put a long bed on it and fab some flares, air bags and nice wheels!

Re: 1970 Chevy Dually

This is my first 67-72 and first dually.

Thought it was so cool that the roof is stamped
different for the cab lights!

Re: 1970 Chevy Dually

It has drums all around.

What is the easiest/cheapest way to convert
them to disc brakes?

Re: 1970 Chevy Dually

I have not done it yet but I have been told to replace the spindles loaded and M cyl from say 73 > 88 dually. Do not use 71 disk parts. They are NLA.

Re: 1970 Chevy Dually

Thanks, guys.

It also has coil springs. Thought that was weird for a dually
but will be easy for air bags.

You guys think it's a rare truck?

I'm surprised the rear wheels don't stick out any farther than that.

Re: 1970 Chevy Dually

My buddy ran the block numbers and it came back as a 1968 327.

Trying to figure out what it is out of and if it has good hp. Guess the next thing to do is find out what heads are on it.

It's a narrow rear out of a Chevy tow truck supposedly.
