57 with camaro clip coil springs

My 57 has a 2nd gen camaro clip,Po heated the springs(WHY!!!!!)..so i bought a new set, did right side had cut 1 coil sat great..did left side now it sits almost 2 lower on drivers side...i don't know what i did wrong..would maybe turning coil in pocket raise it up or do I just have to buy another spring but not cut it..Not sure what to do any help ..Thanks for all the help !!

Re: 57 with camaro clip coil springs

There is a clock position where the spring is seated. Because the spring isn't ground flat, there is a groove in the spring pocket that makes it flat, sort of. I'd guess you have one of the springs not seated properly.
