He wanted to help me Work on my trucks a few days back. we got to talkin about how it was back when he was a kid like me and we got into projects he's tried to do. he told me about his 57' bel air his father sold after the carb caught fire for 50$. Then he ask what my plans were for my other C-dime i had . I Told him i didnt really know. So To shorten this story up He wants to Build a Project to see what its like before the good lord calls him home. im working on a 3d rendering to help get the idea , i think were gonna take the donor step side fenders cut the way down width wise an leave about 3-4 inches that stick out and weld them in place. not sure yet ill post a pic or 2 of the rendering idea

Re: 70's Retro Phantom Dually build (with the ol Man)
Well not much progress on the truck been clearing out the garage to use as our shop Found some cool stuff like a 105mm artillery round and a few tool catalogs like a sears robuck catalog from 1969 and a black an decker from 1958. Other then that i got the frame were using in the shop started working on it hitting it with the wire brush an hitting a few spots with chassis black. Heres a few pics. Also updates will be limited as i ran my laptop over with my 1 ton...so im using a friends computer.
Sorry for the crappy pics guys! |
