Need part number help. 3945078

Can't seem to find this in any of my books. Anybody confirm what this is? 3945078 Gr 5.871 insert.
It is a hubcap part but may not have been used until later? Any info is appreciated. Thanks, Eric

Re: Need part number help. 3945078

Thanks guys. It is a bolt on center for the 1/2 ton full wheel hubcap. It is open for the 4x4 hub to stick through. It looked like the center was cut and ground smooth and i wanted to know if it was a factory job or not. I have a picture of that hubcap for 1975, but that was it. I will try to post a pic later. Eric

Re: Need part number help. 3945078

I thought the same thing!

I hAve "heard" they are still available (from a guy who worked at a dealership),but never looked into it. I know that means they "were" even if stock is now depleted.

The lugs, or center cap?

I have only seen 2 of these in my time playing with these trucks.
