What's the biggest meat I can fit back there?
What's the widest wheel I can fit in the back of a 68 C10 LWB? Planning on a Early Classic Enterprise 4/6 drop. I haven't decided on 17, 18, or 20's yet...
My original plan was the 20x10 American Racing Torq Thrust II Reverse lip. Will it fit in the stock rear wheel well? Thanks, Tom |

I tried putting my 20x10" TT2's w/6" b.space on the back of my 68 but the rear tubs were in the way. I have them currently on my 74swb & use a 7/8" adapter & they fit w/o interference. Both are dropped @ least 6" in the rear & w/the right b.spacing, they would fit the 68.
So, a 10" wheel will fit w/the correct b.space.

Thanks for all the replies.
Coil Spring rear. As far as tire size I'm not sure what I would go with. A tire that at least covers the wheel well enought to protect it, nothing with to wide a section width. And tall enough to fill the wheel opening nicely. I'm glad to hear they'll fit, I was thinking I might have to make the wheel tubs wider. Maybe I'll have to bite the bullit and get the 20x10's. I'll just have to wait and see if I can afford them. Thanks, Tom |

The wheel will fit but again...you can always get a tire wider than the wheel so that would be the next thing to look at. I got 345/55-15's under the rear of my truck with 15 x10's. However if the truck got lowered, the tires would have rubbed the inner tub and the wheel well lip. I think I measured my tub width and thought it was roughly 14"
