When did GM switch to Hydroboost?

When did GM start utilizing Hydroboost equipped brakes on gas C20's - C30's?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: When did GM switch to Hydroboost?

I know the HB (JB8 brake option) has been available for years. Just wondering when the HD vacuum set-ups (JB7) were discontinued on C30 apps....
