I would stay far away from the Honda and Toyota colors. The same color code can be any one of 15 different shades of silver or gray (called variants). Nissan is a little better. Believe it or not, but the domestic car manufacturers have a much better consistency for color match than the asian cars. It has to do with using the same color for so many different vehicles made in so many different places in the world with different paint manufacturers.

But, if you ever have to get back into it and repaint something, you'll get a much better match with domestic colors, or even the European cars.
Personally, I like Ford's CX "dark shadow gray" for a darker gray. Chrysler has a new "billet silver" that is a little darker but really smooth.

Is this still a problem if the paint shop mixes it's own paint?
