Re: Wonder if there will be any 67-72's
Interesting looking at the video, but what car dealer would keep many new cars for 40-50 years.
It makes no sense. Imagine walking into a dealership today and seeing a 2003, 1993, or worse a 1983 Impala... |

Re: Wonder if there will be any 67-72's
I posted on another thread, I'm going to go to this auction. There's at least one '72. Can't remember if it was a 3/4 or half ton or what, but it had very few miles on it. I'm thinking like 4. I'll be sure to snap some pictures and post them!

Re: Wonder if there will be any 67-72's
Going through the list is impressive to say the least. I'm sure I missed a few but it's a long list. There was a ton of 63/64 trucks.
I wonder about the parts list and how will they sell everything. It almost makes sense to start their own auction site and post pics as they document. As I said, too bad the auctioneers are just looking to push the cars through as quickly as they can. http://www.vanderbrinkauctions.com/a.../Inventory.pdf Number-Make-Model-Yr-Engine-Trans-Body-Color-VIN-Mileage 6-pickup-69/70-350-4 brl-auto-64,000 13-Chevrolet-pickup-69-307 2 hrs V-8-3/4 ton-CE420J118998-14-68 136-GMC-truck-67-V-6-1 ton-GM3640VPC3066B-52,000 154-Chevrolet-pickup-67-6 cyl-4 stick-3/4 ton 2x2-75,000 155-Chevrolet-pickup-70-402-3 tree-1/2 ton-CE140J136001 159-Chevrolet-truck-69/70-350 4 brl-3 headers-_ _J129799 169-Chevrolet-pickup-71-24,000 177-Chevrolet-pickup-68-3-CS148J117548 178-Chevrolet-pickup-67-1/2 ton 2x2-J102990-75,000 193-pickup-70-3/4 ton 2x2-J105083-44,000 197-Chevrolet-pickup-69-70-307 V-8-4-1/2 ton 2x2-CE149J339618 244-Chevrolet-pickup-69-6 cyl-stick-1/2 ton 2 whl 319-Chevrolet-pickup-72-350-auto-1/2 ton-3 |

Re: Wonder if there will be any 67-72's
Given how broadly this auction is posted and sent across the Interwebs, the quiet little town of Pierce, NE is going to turn into a modern-day Woodstock that weekend.

Re: Wonder if there will be any 67-72's
Maybe as the auction gets closer, those of us that are going can exchange cell numbers. That way if any of us buy something or just need a hand in general we would have someone in the area to maybe help out. Just a thought.
