Eye Candy for 55, 56 & 57 Truck Guys
Last weekend I did a road trip to pick up a '65 GMC Suburb that I bought about a year ago. On the way home I spotted this GMC 550 Tractor with split big back window (Canadian build). This thing was I great shape --- no rust, Pontiac V8 and running and driving. Check it out ---- per owner --- "NOT FOR SALE" at this time!!!!

quick, delete this thread before buggy sees it and heads up north
good looking truck, like the way the hoods opens for easy access to everything the split window in back. i've only seen that on gmc ton and a half and up vehicles it looks the same size as a stand big window

Re: Eye Candy for 55, 56 & 57 Truck Guys
I looked at one of those locally for another member. The way that the back windows are made makes for a rust pocket around the top, only thing really sealing it is seam sealer. On the one I looked at, an original desert truck, the sealer had deteriorated and the whole area under the roof lip was rusted away. It is basically a big window cab with three infill pieces. I was told they did it that way on the big commercial truck to reduce the expense for broken back window, but provide corner visibility.
