Body mounts & lockable valve stem caps?

I've been trying to track down a creak when I go around corners. I thought it was coming form the front suspension, but it occured to me that a body mount is right where it sounds it is coming from. So I crawl under there and it it loose. I take a ratchet and try and tighten it. It only goes about 10 degrees. I try and loosen it - it only goes 10 degrees. GRRRR! Damn thing must be stripped. How do I get it off and how do I repair it and put a new one in? I might have another bad one in back on that side.

I was looking in the JC Whiney catolog and saw those neat chrome valve stem caps like I have. Two of them were sotlen last week I look in there and the have "lockable" ones. ??? Looks like you use a little special nut turner thing to get them on and off. Anyone have any experience with them?

I was thinking about getting an air horn or one of the horns that play dixie. You guys have any? I want a little "accessory" horn on there for those special occasions.

Hey, if you need help with that body mount, just come up here and I'll help you. I have to do all of mine in the NEAR future, and I recommend going with the PST ones.

those lockable valve stem caps have an outside sleeve that just spins, making it pretty hard to remove by hand unless you got the key...I put them on my truck after two whole sets of chrome ones were stolen
