67-68 Grill Moulding Clips
The moulding clips LMC sends w/new grill inserts seem simple enough till you try to mount them. They have 2 wire tangs on them. I can understand how they'd work with 1, but how does the 2nd one fit inside the trim? The straight tang w/the small curve goes in the grill, then you twist it to hold, but for the life of me, I can't figure out the "paper clip" tang? Thought there was a pic of someone mounting them. Anyone remember?

Install the "paper clip" tab in the channel then twist the other tab around to the left while pushing down on the stud.

DaHos,
Thanks very much. I've been sittin' here playin' with them and I thought they'd go the way you have them pictured. You just reinforced it for me. Thank you again! Raymo |
