oil pressure line ?
The line some how got a crack in it right behind the fitting were it attaches to the gauge. Im thinking I must have tweeked it when I took my cluster out to clean the lens. There is enough line to cut it at the leaky spot and still be able to reach the gauge no problem but I don't have the flare tool and have never used one. Im fairly certain it's possible but just want some info before I go out and buy the flare tool and give it a wack...Thanks

Re: oil pressure line ?
That tube isn't flared, it uses a compression type fitting. You should have enough slack to trim it back and reuse the fitting. Be careful cutting the line and make sure you don't crush it. I plan to use a dremmel tool with a cut off wheel.

Re: oil pressure line ?
THe tiny compression part you want is called a ferrul. Looks like a fat little washer that you slide over the tube. It squeezes onto the tube to seal it when you tighten the tube nut on. Auto parts store should have them.
