The wife says the seat belt is broke.... wrong
So I actually got the wife to take a ride in the Circuit Rider today. We filled up with $66 of gas and I put Octane Booster in and off we went. Then I noticed her seat belt wasn't fastened so being a loving husband I say; "please fasten your seat belt." She says; "I can't because it's broken."
Ok...so I stopped to check it out and then she says; "where is the shoulder belt?" I say it doesn't have one. So I checked the seat belt and saw what she did. I explained the the seat belt by the door is fixed length and you have to adjust the middle seat bet to fit and then click the buckle. She says; "oh". Problem solved.

Interesting story. Tell her the price of shoulder belts she might say the lap belts are just fine.
Nice dog too!

Good point and yes...if she knew how much Shoulder belts would cost ... she would be just fine with the old fashioned seat belts.

Haha! When my wife rode in my 72, she said this seat belt is broken, it won't pull all the way out...

Re: The wife says the seat belt is broke.... wrong
Pardon me, but that interior is fabulous and very worthy of the shoulder belts. I just wish mine had the mounting hole for them.

Re: The wife says the seat belt is broke.... wrong
I thought all 67-72's had the mounting holes? My small window 67 had them, with the nut and all. I purchased the 3 point belts, and the bolt threaded right in.

Re: The wife says the seat belt is broke.... wrong
I guess not. My truck is an old fire trail trail truck from California and was seriously bare bones. I ground all the paint out of the cab and there is nothing in that area... I guess it's broke?

Re: The wife says the seat belt is broke.... wrong
That is the first thing I tell people when they get in my truck. I have had more, "Does this not pull out all the way?" questions on that...
