How do you West coast brats sleep knowing there's a little rust in a 40+ yr old truck ?

(Just playin ). Every truck in this area has a little rust. .. I'd like to get my hands on a true rust free desert truck.

couple notes - look closely at the linked pics, not just the ones in the ad - the cab supports are rotted. Kind of a big issue for me... But if you look at ALL the linked pics in the ad, you'll also discover it's a Highlander truck. Should have orange plaid seat, etc. Restored, this would be a great truck. But it would take some doing to get there. Too bad they bungled the parchment door panels, but you can find more of those. I think it's priced a little high, even for the rust belt, but still would be sweet when done. Orange Highlanders are sweet.

I agree and I know all too well what Michigan environment will do to a vehicle. Even from Tenn state, these trucks are not rust free. Yes, cab supports, rockers, cab corners and doors. I did not see a good pic of the roof inside near the windshield. The truck is a nice 50 footer but would need a ton of work and money to be nice. I see a $2,000 driver at best.

The problem with this is, the truck will bring 4 - 5K in Michigan just because they are so hard to find here, even in restorable condition. The really nice ones stay locked up in a vault and make a weekend appearance now and then. You will not find a bone yard that has any and if you do, there is absolutely nothing left to salvage.

RUST SUCKS!!!
