New member kind of, 1970 C10 Step 5.3 LM7 4L65E

Figured after lurking this site for years and drooling over everyone's beautiful trucks I would finally post something.

Truck is a 1970 C10 Step side bought it with a 350/350 combo. Long story short purchased it for my Step Dad who has muscular dystrophy and is losing motor function in his feet and hands. Trying to let him enjoy something he loves before he loses all feeling in his feet. Pulled the anemic 350 and sold it. have since installed a 5.3 LM7 from a 2002 Avalanche backed by a 4L65E from a Silverado Max, Griffin Radiator, Walbro inline 255 pump, welded a return to the sending unit all -6 push-lock feed and return fuel lines. Is on all new suspension from performance online, 3.5/5" drop with disc brake conversion. Truck is destined to be a nice driver with heat and a/c. Hopefully will be firing it this weekend and have it out at our local cruise here in AZ at The Cruise on Central in October along with my Turbo 5.3 Mustang. Turbo drivetrain was in my Nova, have 2 projects going at once need my head checked.
