Straight 6 Headers
So I've been doing a little research and I cannot seem to find straight 6 headers for my 84 c10. Does anyone know who makes them without having them custom made? i know it's only a 4.1 but i want to make it sound mean

Re: Straight 6 Headers
They have headman headers there ok. I use Stovebolt cast iron headers there great. You can get then from a guy named Tom Landon at stovebolts. He sells all kind of goodies for our motors. 1-586-739-9601

Re: Straight 6 Headers
If you have an integral head like in this link you won't find any headers for it.

Re: Straight 6 Headers
I bought a 4cylinder Jeep header years ago from Clifford Research. Looked them up on the web, now they are called Clifford Performance. They have headers and intake manifolds for 6 cyl. engines. They aren't cheap, but the stuff was nice.

Re: Straight 6 Headers
straightsix you have sweet looking engine. you are lucky though chris, integral heads are garbage. google 6=8 or tom langdon. clifford and offenhauser make great stuff. also mention above was stovebolt. 6=8 is expensive...

Re: Straight 6 Headers
Clifford did make headers (mid length) for 75+ integrated head motors. I know, I have them on my 76. You will be VERY close to the linkages on a column manual, but it IS doable.
Problem will be, finding a pair... Good news is, since really nobody else will be looking for them, if you find them, they're normally not too badly priced, lol

Re: Straight 6 Headers
I think integrated heads for chevys came out after 75. i have a 78 without integrated. it wasnt until the 80's they came out with that. which led to the v-6. they carried on the inline 6 in mexico for a while but that fell off too. to bad they never introduced an fuel injected inline for chevy with a cross flow... i wonder if it can be done with a work of a great machinist.
