Modern rear bumpers? Options?
As the title says. Does any one have pics of modern late model truck chrome bumpers installed? I like the way some of the newer trucks on the road look and I'm wondering if anyone has fitted one up to our generation of 67-72 fleetside trucks.

Ask and you shall receive. This is a 99 + bumper from a pick-up/tahoe.
Not chrome but you get the idea. |

Very nice! Good looking truck....Were the frame mounts far off from the new bumper points or is the fittment fairly close?

Re: Modern rear bumpers? Options?
new vehicles do not have heavy gauge bumpers they have crumple zones that can not survive an abusive shoppin cart

New model bumpers look out of place on beautiful old trucks, IMO!

Re: Modern rear bumpers? Options?
It definitely clashes with the original styling, but is not terrible IMO. For the right price I would do the same just to get a rear bumper on my truck.

Re: Modern rear bumpers? Options?
I like the look of modern chrome/plastic in some cases. I think bumper shown above was nicely done to match the body color. Not bad IMHO. If the price is right why not. Anymore pics out there? Would love to see some more.
