Parts interchange, need help

I got a 51, and I found a bunch of parts today that are 49. I need a grille and running boards, along with some glass, drs, rear and front windshield. Also he has all the stainless trim that goes around the dr glass, windshield, center of hood etc. Will all this fit my 51? This will put me having 2 extra drs, cab, heater, and possibly frt fenders, support and several other parts I don't have no place for. He said he had several new patch panels he'd throw in. It is a 5 window cab too. Just wanted to make sure I wouldn't end up with a bunch of stuff I couldn't use. I was pretty sure it'd all fit, but I've been sure before. The grill is a chrome 1 too, that'll be nice.

Yes. The '51 doors have wing windows, '49 one piece. All parts will work if they are Chevy(GMC grille & front fenders, hood & support are different). Running boards long or short bed
will differ as you know. 1947(2nd series) - 1953 will be same with small differences.
and some '54-'55(1st series) parts will work also(they had different grille, front fenders, one piece windshield & dash to name some things).
