Transmission issue?

TH350 with V8 engine. Runs and revs great in park but when I put it in either R or D I push on the accel pedal and it doesn't move until I rev it WAY up then it wil move. Any ideas what this might be? Thanks!!!

Re: Transmission issue?

Have you checked the fluid level while the truck is running?

Re: Transmission issue?

Sounds like low fluid level. Should be checked on a level surface, hot, engine at idle in Park.
