250 6 cylinder question

I just recently got a '84 lwb 1/2 ton 2wd with a 250 in it and it had a integrated head. Driving it home one day it overheated because I had a duh moment and forgot to check the coolant level before I started driving it. After that it was pushing coolant out the exhaust when I tried to start it. I took the head off to put a new head gasket on it and when I was cleaning the head to put it back on I noticed two cracks, one in chamber #2 and one in chamber #4. There's a non-integrated head I'm going to pick up, my question is, what intake will allow me to use the 2 barrel carb the was on the integrated head on a non-integrated head?

Re: 250 6 cylinder question

Without a custom made adapter plate, I believe none.

The integrated head motors used a different carb than the earlier non-integrated design. When the integrated head came out they used a new design carb, and there was no performance advantage to make a separate intake using that carb for the older motors - for an upgrade guys would buy the clifford or offy intakes that used a 4bbl instead.

You could get a Clifford performance intake they also sell two barrel adapters. They have a lot of goodies for the 250

I just ordered the Clifford setup myself so in a month or so I can tell you how it all works out.
