New Millermatic 212

I've been using a Century 200 welder for the last 10+ years or so. It's worked ok but at times has a few gremlins that like to come out and torment me (wire feed, ugh). Today I went down to the local welding shop and bought a Millermatic 212 with autoset.

A test weld with the Miller. Just set it and forget it. I like it.

Now instead of fighting with the gremlins in my old welder I can get some work done on my 60 Apache.

I will come get that old junker out of your way since you don't need it anymore .. Nice buy. The Miller 212 is a sweet machine.

$1733 + $110 in sales tax. Could have gotten it a little cheaper online but the local welding shop has been pretty decent to me so I went with them.

I bought a 211 a while back.Went with the LWS also. They matched the online price and gave me a break on the bottle and first fill.

Re: New Millermatic 212

I went from that very same Century to a Miller 252 last year. I had the exact same problem you are talking about. Absolutely love the Miller though, I paid 1900 tax free on a sale at AOC (a welding store down in the South).
