Thanks, thanks. Yeah, I will be driving around a little till I get used to it (its funny when I think back to all the dangerous rigs I used to drive without a thought to the reprocutions), but I will be at the XXX show.... How can you wrong with that! And I guess it is a CST. Mark (Livrat) came over and looked it over, and you can see where somebody filled the holes in the back for the side panels. Weird.

I don't know, I like that ride height you have there. Mine is almost the same. Feels like driving a Tonka Toy down the freeway, but what the he$$!!!

That has been some good work with the grille, wheels and tires. Looks very nice.

I have a stock height 72 CST with 31x10.50 tires and it drives so much better than the 72 Jimmy I sold last year. It had 4 inch lift with blocks in the back and 4 inch springs in the front. Tires were 33x12.50. Didn't like it at all. Bounced all over the road. Don't off road so didn't need the ground clearance. I guess it's all about personal preference. The look and the ride quality.

Well, I have changed the tires and wheels, the grill, sent it away for some work (some guys have skills, I have bills) to a friend of Ellens and it runs good now. Mark (Livrat) gave me the grill insert that had one broken tab, so a tube of super glue and some rubber black rustoleum paint and it looks good enough for now. I found the 15X8 rallys on craigslist for $40, and Les Schwab blasted/powdercoated them for $120. I put 33 12.5 instead of the 35 12.5. I might take the lift down a little later. Some progress I guess!

I live over here in Tri-Cities, WA. Just had a powder coat place strip and powder coat my 15x8 Rally Wheels for $40 a wheel. It only took 4 days to get em back. They look great. Les Schwab here quoted me the same $40 a wheel but indicated a 3 week turnaround time. I have a stock lift 72 Blazer with Rally's BFGR KM2 31x10.50 R15. Owned it since 1980.

Looks great! I couldnt find a place "in Seattle" under $80+. I didnt shop the burbs much beacuse I had the time for the 3 week turnaround.

I have newish seats! I did the 99 extended cab chevy pick up seats, an F350 (Gasp, ford!) console/jump seat, it was the coolest console I could find, plus a factory take out cost half what GM ones are going for, and the 3rd rows bouncy gave me the heads up on. Just got it back from having the Tahoe floor pan parts welded in. I bought a whole 3rd row replacement sheet metal and told them to use what worked best. Now to see if I can get some pics to load.

Erin, that turned out incredible. I wish I had a Tahoe floor pan to do the same. The install of my seats was probably one of the most difficult/tedious upgrades I've done. Getting those brackets (or more accurately the holes to bolt them into) was such a PITA. On top of that, getting the appropriate clearance needed since the stock floor pan doesn't have those nice channels for them.

Thanks! Im happy with it. I have the plastic inserts, so once I have a little more floor repair done, ill put carpet with the inserts in, and it should be pretty slick!

I cant see your handle without getting the theme song to my three sons stuck in my head for a few days.. lol
