Rear barn door window gaskets
Can any one point me to the right direction on where can I find the rear door window gaskets for a 63 panel that wont break the bank? Panel guys where do you find your parts..I did a search on the web and most of the places I order dont carry them or have no illustrations on the parts.. also I need one of the door glass so if I remove the other side and have it cut the same (since its flat glass) it should fit on the other side right? Correct me if I'm wrong....

Re: Rear barn door window gaskets
Personally I like..
www.truckandcarshop.com I'm not ready to purchase mine yet but I have it on my list of parts to buy. rear cargo door window weather strip 60-66 Part number #60-07808 $81 a pair Price was as of early last year when I made my list. Edit. Here is another...(I hear good things about steele rubber) www.steelerubber.com Part Number: 60-0484-81 Price: $86.60/pr. Parts on the front of the panel are the same as the pickups (cab, hood, fenders, engine, etc) but rear parts can be a bear. many parts are just not reproduced so ebay, craigslist, and junk/salvage yards are your best bet for the hard to find items. Re: Rear barn door window gaskets
wonder if you could reuse the rubber you have?
I was also under the impression that the barn door rubber was the same as a small back window rubber, only shorter? maybe a bbw gasket could do both doors? glass should be the same...

Re: Rear barn door window gaskets
The steele rubber part fits perfect and is high quality. That glass is a @itch to get in so bring a bucket of patience when you do it. You are going to be sure it won't go in just before it finally does.
Also if you have the old one trie cleaning it with EasyOff oven cleaner. You'll be amazed at how newish it will become. Good Luck |

Re: Rear barn door window gaskets
Thanx for the info surferdude.. Well I found some gaskets on the web http://www.ebay.com/itm/271246015642...S:1123&vxp=mtr
Contacted the vendor cause the lower description said..67-72 Chevy and GMC panel + suburban and it was a typo error so they corrected the wording... might go with this for now..
