i paid $3400.00 for it wrecked. $500.00 for a frame,$1500.00 for the front cap.$125.00 for a air bag. $400.00 to get the front cap painted. misc door handles and mirrors. $200.00, $40.00 to get the air bag module reset. roughtly $6165.00 plus my time. around here trucks like this are bringing $8000-$9500.00 so i think that i done ok.

DANG! Hey 468BIGBLOCK what'ya doin? "Oh, nothing just bought this wrecked truck, swapped the frame and had it painted in a few days".

Looks slick.

Do you know how your painter prepped the bumper cap? I'd like to do mine, and the mirrors/caps also.

those door handles came off a 2005 chevy tahoe. the mirrors are off a 2005 suburban that were painted from the factory they were black. the upper bumper pad is off a 2005 chevy silverado that was painted from the factory it was white. you can get a new upper bumper pad that is smooth and paintable from an aftermarket suppier like keystone automotive.
