As far as sand blasting is concerned you definitely do not want to do it after putting in the sound barrier. No matter how good you clean up after yourself, anyone that has ever had anything blasted can tell you that years later you will be driving down the road hit a bump and have sand fall out from somewhere. That stuff gets everywhere.

Awesome man. I appreciate it very much. And I also am thankful for you lending your experience to me. This is why I love this forum! That sand falling out is EXACTLY what I do NOT want. Should be no problem to weld rods back together and make it work. Remember that the offer stands, if two days or two years from now you need something that I can help you with just let me know. Oh by the way this morning I ordered up everything else that I need to finish up my front end so it will be ready for some wheels and to sit on the ground shortly. My steering gear leaks so got a rebuild kit for it and will attempt to do that.
