I got a link to a site called a-1 electric. They sell the window regulators for a little over 200 bucks. That is without switches but, they also sell the switches seperatley from 30 on up.
There are a couple of guys on here that have these, I just can't remember who. I am going to be installing these along with the power lock and alarm / keyless entry system that they also carry.

A friend of mine who rebuilds older cars and trucks to sell put some in a 72 he rebuilt. He used the motors and regulators out of a 85 pickup. I did notice he had to drill new holes for the regulators to mount. I seen them work also, but he sold the truck as soon as he got it finished, so if there were any problems with them he never heard of them.

The kit from A-1 Electric is awesome. I have it installed on my truck and it was a direct bolt in. I got the brothers one piece window kit at the same time and saved myself alot of money by buying them seperate. You will love A-1's customer service and tech support too. A-1 also ships in a day or two from order date so everything is delivered within a week in most cases.

I bought the kit from A-1 too. I haven't gotten to installing it yet, but I talked to My new 72 and he used this kit and LOVED IT! Here is a pic- not a great one, but I spent 349.00 for the power regulators, switches (I bought the 79.99 switches-most expensive), wiring and wiring looms. I will let everyone know how it goes for me.

Here is the install of A-1's window kit.

http://www.a1electric.com/chevypickup1.htm

It looks like it wouldn't be too tough.

I bought the A-1 kit a few years ago. They were on backorder from A-1 at the time so I ordered them from Summit Racing. Had them in 3 days. Direct bolt in and work just fine.

No she said she spent 349 for all of that, not just the regulators. It's much cheaper thru A-1. Brothers jacks up the prices on alot of stuff. Follow the link to the site that was given above, the regulators from A-1 are 239 for both, plus 79 for the switches. A shiite load cheaper than 425.

Brothers has the one piece glass and electric set-up for 675. Looks like to me this is the cheapest way to go if you want both. It would still be 320 for the electrics for A-1 and other 360 plus shipping on the one piece glass from Brothers. Looks like it evens out to me. I guess I'm going to give Brothers some business. BTW, Stan at ECE has the same set-up, but he said he couldn't touch Brothers price. Danny

They make now original bolt in power regulators that work perfectly. They are a little more pricey but no mods are neccesary
