Which running boards will fit my 1951 Panel Truck?

My running boards at rotted through pretty good.
Going to be hitting a couple of swap meets soon and a salvage yard with a few pickups so before going reproduction, I wanted to see if I could find any original ones.

The issue is that any ones I've seen on pickups look too short and the ones on my truck look like they're 2 pieces with a seam in the middle as opposed to one long running board. Maybe that's just the rotting.

I can just measuring tape mine and any I find for comparison but it would help if there was some sort of cross reference of running boards that will fit.

Thanks.

Is your panel a half ton? If I'm not mistaken the running boards should be the same. I have heard of the bigger trucks and panels having 'boards that are two piece and are welded together. I can measure the ones on my 'burb and send you a pic. hope this helps.

Yeah I do believe it's the half ton. It's not the longer one.

I measured them. They are 62 1/4 inches long at the part that is directly under the body. Does that make sense?

Re: Which running boards will fit my 1951 Panel Truck?

Yes If they are the same as pickup boards a portion of them would be directly under the body as the body on a panel stays the same width as the truck cab is through the doors and the truck bed is set in a bit.
I never gave this much thought but the old burb that I drug home several years ago to scavange parts off had the same running board brackets as my truck does. When the burb and panel guys wake up you might get definitive answer.

They are the same as the pickup. I just replaced my drivers side board.
I have a 50 panel
