bought 1964 stepside

just bought my 1st c10. don't know where to start to restore it. needs a lot of work, but im going to take my time and do it right. hope to do a build thread. looking for a bench seat.

welcome and congrats on the new purchase. get it to stop, start and steer properly 1st, then worry about the rest. the bench seats are pretty easy to come across, where in nc are you? im in fayetteville....there is a pretty large nc crowd here.

Congratulations! I got mine in May of this year. +1 on what 1963 said. I started with the brakes on mine, and discovered that it had no rear brakes, the rubber hose from the steel brake line to the rear axle was mush inside.

Are you referring to the front cross member (holds the a arms and front suspension) or the radiator mount? Porterbuilt sells a replacement radiator crossmember. As far as front suspension crossmembers you have several options depending on what you are trying to do.
