I was at a show last weekend and thought of this thread while looking at an El Camino. Bracket looked the same from what I recall with the small vertical bolt position. Worth looking into for you guys who want one...

Food for thought: Yesterday I had to up-size my alternator to 100 amp - the lower amp alternator wasn't cranking out enough juice to keep the batteries charged and the truck running. Now I have 13 plus volts to each battery (under 12 before to the main battery).
