New to the forum 66 3/4 custom camper

Bought this truck a few weeks back. Pretty original, had stock hub caps down to owners manual and jack tools. Some type of early aded air conditioning, 327/3 on tree.. Thought i would share. Already dropped it 5 out back and 3.5 front with cut/ tj coils. Already bought a 72 front end to swap soon. Love these old trucks.

Welcome and a great looking 66 you have there. Hang on to those OEM hubcaps...they are getting harder to find. The new stance looks great....keep us posted on the new project.

Nice. The tj coils are a nice drop and I cut 1.25 coils out of her. Gonna keep it original as possible but while still slamming it on the ground.

Do the side maker light s work as turn or running lights, that interior is clean. Blocks are good way to get it lower to. Easy to make.

Re: New to the forum 66 3/4 custom camper

It's coming along. The bed is off for new wood. Upgraded to a Saginaw full synchro 3 speed trans. I now have restored set of rallies that are black and no trim ring. 12 bolt 5 lug 3.08 rear. And a 5 lug crossmember. Waiting on c notch and drop spindles and new ball joints and stuff to put it in. Thinking about taking the a c out

Re: New to the forum 66 3/4 custom camper

Have made some headway.. 72 chevy 12 bolt 5 lug, cleaned up some rallies, cpp 5 in spring, notch, pan-hard bar, shocks, shock relocator, 2 in blocks, and poly tralling arm bushings. Camaro rear sway bar. Ford f250 rear flex brake line.. All new brake tubing, used 69-72 rear brake cables (only had to move the mount 1 inch and only 13$ at any auto part stores!) Did some neat adapting on this project. And fyi 3/4tons have double plated frames which make the c notch a big job! No rivet will hit out cause plate misalignment! any-who.. Heres some pics..
