what rims are these?

ill start off with im sorry if this is the wrong section its the closest i could think of to what im asking. would someone please be able to tell me what rims these are? the center caps say american racing but im thinking there just that, caps thrown on for looks.. if someone can help it would be greatly appreciated

They are American racing ar 39 wheels from the early 90s.

alright sweet thankyou so much, what would be a good way to safetly re surface them? i love these rims and want to keep them on my truck when i rebuild the truck

I believe they are clear coated ask around someone on here will tell you how to tell if they are.

alright thank you very much i assume the detailing would be the place to go for that? all im looking at doing is refurbishing the silver (im assuming aluminum) then color matching where the black is to the truck
