Flywheel Install
I took the flywheel off the old 250, and am about to bolt it to a brand new 350. Do I align the dowel holes up for proper orientation?

Re: Flywheel Install
This won't help you any but since you have had several people look and nobody answer, are you sure that the 250 flywheel is the same as the one for a 350? I personally have never tried to change one so I would not know about the change over.

Re: Flywheel Install
I know it will fit on the older 350's -I put my old 250 flywheel on my 75 350. I'm not familiar with the newer engines so do don't know.
Anyway, yes, you just align the dowel hole on crank with the flywheel hole.

Re: Flywheel Install
Forgot to mention... some flywheels were drilled for the heavy duty cluch/pressure plate (like mine) and some were drilled for both.

Re: Flywheel Install
I lined up the extra hole, seemed like a no brainer.

Re: Flywheel Install
They interchange as long as it's not the one piece rear main 5.7l.
