Diesel with zero compression but runs pretty good
I've got an IH 504 diesel with the 188 cu in engine. Actually its a 2504 (industrial version). I am trying to test compression and everything I read says remove the injector and test through that hole. Well, there is no air going in or out and 0psi if I do that. Obviously it has some compression since its a diesel and it runs. I'm thinking it has precombustion chambers, so How the heck do I test compression??? THanks in advance.
