tail gate tune up!

Hey guys,

I rebuilt my tailgate a few months ago and its really not as bad as some people make it out to be!, theres a trick!!

before you undo anything get a couple of 5/8" nuts and use them to pin the strikers down. now when you undo everything nothing is under load!

this morning I took a half hour to adjust the striker catchers that are bolted to the bed. My tailgate works as smoothly as a tin can POS tailgate can. I don't have to lift it or wiggle it anymore. just a straight slam.

if your bored and you have a few hours its well worth it!
