Soft-Ray door and rear glass

I am going to post this again and see what happens. This is a set of soft-ray tinted door glass and rear window glass. I was able to save the original weather-strip from the rear window and it is very pliable and can be used again. The rear window trim will come with this as well, but has some dings in it. I am not really pricing out the weather-strip and trim, just throwing them in with the deal. Glass is not perfect and has scratches. Most of the scratches will polish out,but there will be a couple that won't. Either way you will be left with nice driver quality glass. $200 PLUS SHIPPING.

Re: Soft-Ray door and rear glass

I have the sides but would like to get the rear... shipping large glass is suicide though...

Especially Fedex. Seeing them throw that nice TV over some guys fence on the news makes me feel great about using them. I would pack it very well and pray a little as well.

Re: Soft-Ray door and rear glass

Its really not worth selling seperately. Its dinged up. I was just throwing it in with this sale just to get rid of it.

Re: Soft-Ray door and rear glass

I figured a styrofoam all around packaged tightly in carboard should keep it safe.

Re: Soft-Ray door and rear glass

Styrofoam should work well to ship. Use it all the way around, and use cardboard on the corners, with extra foam in those areas inside the cardboard. We get windshields all the time Fedex, and I've had 1 broken in the last 9 years. It's all in the packaging.

Re: Soft-Ray door and rear glass

The key to shipping tempered glass is the edges.. .Protect the edges adequately and it will be fine.
