E-Brakes

how many years will the e-brake cables on the rear end of a 68 short step side interchange with?

66-68

I only have the Truck Shop catalog at my desk, 66 - 68 1/2-3/4 ton with coil springs. scott

is there a difference between long and short box cables?

the truck is a project i found for a 17 year old son od a friend of mine! it had a micro loc for e-brakes. we would like something a little more reliable. i will try to get pics of it downloaded to post!
we just found a 66 for his 14 year old sister to build.

I think you need to ask one of the vendors on the front page for the straight scoop on e-brake cables. An outfit that used to be up here is moving to Phoenix (I think) - RB's Obsolete Automotive. They have done a lot of work on trucks in "Classic Trucks" and "Custom Classic Trucks". They are expensive, but I'm sure they could help identify the cables. But I'd try one of the vendor links up front first. Scott
