I know you said stock, but if you want to add a little bling, a pedal from the 70's thru early 80's Cadillac will pop right on to those ball studs. Early 70's even have a similar "apron" on the bottom that lays over the carpet. My '64 pedal bolts in too like yours, but I have ball studs on my '66 which now has a Caddy pedal.
