1966 SWB Stepside from Austin, TX

Recently bought a 1966 SWB Stepside and have been restoring (restomod) it for a few months now. So far:
  • Total rewire with an American Autowire Harness
  • Restored Gauge Cluster by following theastronaut's thread
  • Restored original bench seat (springs, upholstery)
  • Re-dyed the cab carpet.
  • New rear view mirror.
  • New sun visors.
  • Changed ignition switch, door locks, and glove box lock to same key.
  • Upgraded the alternator.

Plenty more to do. Haven't started a build thread yet but that's next.

Here she is:

Re: 1966 SWB Stepside from Austin, TX

Thanks fellas. Much appreciated. This is my first restore. My pop had a '66 when I was a kid in South Texas and, after looking around for a while, I settled on this one. My automotive knowledge before now was the usual maintenance stuff so I'm looking forward to learning.
