Re: C10 Custom: What do ya think?
there's a lot I like and a lot I don't.
I like the body section and the chop top. don't care for the ribbed roof, and headlights. needs more rear tire too. one of the best I've ever seen was done similar to that one, chopped with a body section.

Re: C10 Custom: What do ya think?
there was one on the E-bay just yesterday and it was customized with a bunch of body mods. I am not a body mod guy but I can see the work that went into it being a bodyman. Jim

Re: C10 Custom: What do ya think?
Sure, there are plenty of custom trucks out there like that one. I saw three just like it today .
Just kidding! I think I know what you meant. The answer is yes, there are many 67-72 GM trucks customized with body mod. They're all different and done to what would please the owner's dream. I'm not into going that route,so no pictures saved. I may have seen that one years ago...or one similar with extensive body alterations. The body was seriously dropped down on the frame to where the thresholds and floor hump were way higher than the floor. I think it had a tilt front end, though. I know I've seen this truck before. The one I saw was even more radical.

Here's my friend's shop truck. He has it set up with ramps, stands and a winch so he can haul 2 Harleys at once

What I think? Hideous. I feel like customization in today's society means different regardless of the outcome. To not be so negative, there's a lot of expert fabrication that went into that truck. I myself couldn't even start measurements for such a task. That being said it feels '80's to me.

This was always my personal favorite. Wish they had taken the time to put a diesel in it though.

Re: C10 Custom: What do ya think?
its definitely not for everyone but I would take it.
the front end and wheels date it to the late 80's-early 90's. I think it has tons of potential. rework the front end to a single round headlight, different front parking lights. drop members front and rear, 24x14's & 22x8.5 wheels. the one thing that really makes it stand out to me is also probably not even noticed by the majority of people who looked at the pic & that is the body section.
