Re: Ls engine swap kit
There are numerous choices for motor mounts, I have the POL tubular mounts and standard mounting plates. They sit great and give plenty of clearance for exhaust manifolds or headers. The best oil pan to go with is a 98-02 Camaro pan. I tried a ls2 pan and it didn't work. The truck pan works, but it's not the best if you plan to go low, it hangs a few inches below the crossmember. As for headers, I have the Doug Thorley swap headers, they fit perfect. I had the manifolds off and these on in about half an hour. The downside is they are pricey. If you are looking to run factory manifolds, the Trailblazer SS ones fit the best.

Re: Ls engine swap kit
I put a LS 6 liter lq9 in my 1968 c10. I used the motor mounts and rear trani cross member from early classic enterprise. Worked good. The engine and trani mounts just bolted in. The OEM trani linkage even line up. I also used stock exhaust manifolds from a trailblazer ss. They were a cheaper fit then headers. The truck manifolds wouldn't fit for me. The truck oil pan that came on the engine worked like it was made for it. I enjoyed learning as I did this swap. Well worth it.

Re: Ls engine swap kit
For my 5.3L / 4L60E swap I used CPP Sheet metal LS mounts (new style) with the rubber pads for the motor and their tubular transmount. Honestly ive had my good and bad times with CPP but they gave me a quality, easy install, product that works just fine. For exhaust manifolds I am using 2005 Trailblazer SS manifolds. They sound b*tchin. I just finished my swap so any questions PM me

Re: Ls engine swap kit
I used the dirty dingo mounts on the factory 6 cylinder stands in the factory location. I used some swap shorty headers from ebay. I'm running the stock truck pan and it does hang down a little, I'll be changing it before I bag it. I've got about 2000 miles on it and no problems so far with a ecc 4/6 drop.
