WTB '72 Driver Door, Mirrors
I need a driver's door for a '72 specifically please. Can't locate locally. So if anyone out of state is willing to part with one, please let me know. I wouldn't know how to go about shipping something like that though.
If anyone has ever done this, please let me know how to go about this. I'm also looking for west coast seniors. Yeah I know, me and about a million other guys. But, ya never know. Thanks all.

Re: WTB '72 Driver Door, Mirrors
do you have a pic of the exact mirrors you are looking for? there is a lot of confusion on these mirrors and some pics might help you locate them.

Re: WTB '72 Driver Door, Mirrors
I apoligize for the delayed reponse. Twisted my back, and It takes considerably longer to heal than it did when I was in my 30's & 40's.
Anyway, I should have realized that and posted photos. I'll try and watch for my year & style so I copy and paste the photos. Thanks for the advice. Right now though; the door is more important because my painter is waiting for the door.

Re: WTB '72 Driver Door, Mirrors
I checked it and its a passenger side door. Good shape though... Check craigslist, there is a guy up around Clermont that sales some nice 67-72 parts.

Re: WTB '72 Driver Door, Mirrors
David: OK, thanks anyway. I just broke down and bought one from Classic Parts (Chevy Duty). Yeah, I've been up there in Clermont. I bought a set of front coils. He's a good guy. No door though.
Billsbowtie: Those are aftermarket? In the photo, the left one appears broken. Is it, or is that just the way the photo turned out? Can you give me a measurement of the mirror heads?

If you need other items, shoot me a PM with a list. I have quite a few parts stashed in my barn.

Re: WTB '72 Driver Door, Mirrors
I appreciate the offer. Although; after seeing this type mounted, not sure if I want them. They're not bad as second choice, I'm just not sure if I want to buy them and then never use them.
I have an opportunity to buy a set of full size west coast seniors, but they're for an '82 Silverado. I'd have to tweak them to fit the doors on my '72. I'll keep your information. If I decide to buy, I'll see if you still have them. Thanks again for your help.
