I've got gas

hehe, sometimes I crack myself up...
I got a tank with co2/argon today.
My welder came with a regulator.

So what now? I just plug the tank into the welder and turn on the gas? The welder does the rest as far as amount of gas released etc?

I lost my owners manual and it would probably all be in chinglish anyway.

I also got some non-flux core .023 wire.

Re: I've got gas

hook up your regulator to your tank, the hose to back of welder and your good to go. You will have to set the pressure of the regulator to suite your welding needs. some run 20lbs some use 30lbs I,ve seen guys run as much as they can. sometimes it depends on which gun you have and how clean your steel is that your using. don,t waste your gas if your welding outside because the wind will blow it all away from your work. use flux core if welding outside..

Re: I've got gas

15-20 on the regulator and you will be in good shape. I have the same welder. I have welded everything from sheetmetal to spring perches on a rear with that welder and all is well.

Re: I've got gas

.023 solid core would be the best in those little machines

Re: I've got gas

Nice little welder. It's the same as a Hobart All made by Miller.
