Color code
The data plate on firewall of my truck lists the color as 5204 B98
I was able to find RPO B98 is side trim but can't find the color. It's a blue truck and I believe it to be original. Just want to verify. |

Re: Color code
Now where was this tag at? The B-pillar of the drivers side door? I've been lookin to find the same thing out myself, but they say it's preceeded by RPO then a color code number. Try checking the search tool in the forum and see if you can find anything related to your thread that might help. I also see from your avatar display and your tag info that it's a Canadian version by how "color" is spelled, over there you fella's spell it "colour".

Re: Color code
Canadian built Chevrolet
by the model C1534 Long Box Fleetside 127" wheelbase B98 is bright side molding. Tag is located on the cowl/ firewall in the engine compartment. American Built would be on the kick panel drivers side in the cab. The color code throws me off though. Course it's not a 63, what year?

Re: Color code
Since your lucky enough to have a Canadian built truck, for a couple of bucks you can get GM Vintage Services in Oshawa to run you VIN number and give you some info on it.
