Por 15 During Winter?

I am planning out my next 4 weeks or so and had originally wanted to get frame prepped and Por 15'd, but not sure if I can use it on sub 10* weather.

Sorry if its a dumb question, just never used it and wanted some input.

If you have used it in freezing temperatures, how did the application go?

Earlier today (before I saw your post) I ordered one of these heaters for my garage:

Probably good enough for local warming of car panels and bodies.

It's supposed to be in the single digits the next couple of nights. Not REAL COLD by some mountain standards but cold enough!

I would do a little research on POR 15. Iirc it's not temperature dependant but moisture dependent. I.e. it's a moisture curing epoxy. It's been a long time so I can't definitively say but it might say on their site. Maybe give em a call?

I don't know of any paint/coating that can be applied below 50 or so degrees with positive results.

Good idea on calling. Also, Utah is dry, so I already was thinking how I would need to use wet towels or something.

Yeah man, I know...just dont want to admit it. I was hoping to get the frame done by end of January, but didnt even put into consideration the cold weather. Does that show I am still not used to the idea of a "winter" hahaha.

Think a couple space heaters could solve this issue? Do sections at a time, while surrounded by heaters, maybe.

Keep in mind POR has some VERY nasty volatiles and should only be applied with good ventilation. Maybe have to wait for that rare 60 degree Dec day??
